Volunteer Opportunities at Holy Comforter

The Friendship Center @ Holy Comforter offers many activities for the enjoyment and uplifting of our members and neighbors. These activities call on the skills and generosity of many people, including parishioners and volunteers from the Atlanta community. Here are some of the activities we need your help with:

* Preparing and serving breakfast and lunch.

* Attending to unexpected needs that arise from the gathering of 100 or more people.

* Driving vans to transport participants to and from their homes.

* Gardening in our gardens and our greenhouse on Tuesday and Thursday.

* Sitting and talking with people at the Friendship Center.

* Leading Bible Studies or educational workshops.

* Playing games, including cards, bingo or board games or games you bring.

* Giving of your time and talent in the areas of painting, HVAC, organizing, advocacy, plumbing or light construction work.

* Organizing field trips.

* Providing transportation during the Friendship Center to other venues or to doctor's appointments.

* Or, just visit Holy Comforter and experience our community.
