Success Stories: Inside a Circle of Friends

Caring for a person with a disability requires a full-time commitment leaving many caregivers exhausted and in need of a little "R&R." They often times seek solace in various government, community, and religious-based programs that offer short-term relief from the demanding job of a caregiver.  In Marietta, Ga., the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection created Circle of Friends, a respite program to help serve the needs of its community. Outdoor Workday at Holy Comforter



There will be an outdoor work day at Holy Comforter on May 10. (Some of you will recognize this as a revised date - formerly April 12.) The major project will be site preparation for arbors and shelves for our gardening center. There will also be plenty of general clean-up work to be done.

If we get enough volunteers, we may also do some inside work.
